2024 Fundraising Gala

The POPS Committee is celebrating year two of our three year effort to build the Praha Outdoor Performance Stage (POPS).
This year's POPS Gala will be a concert/dance featuring Mollie B & SqueezeBox with Ted Lange.

The POPS Committee is celebrating year one of our three year effort to build the Praha Outdoor Performance Stage (POPS) and surpassing the half-way mark in our fundraising.
POPS will be giving away a vehicle valued at $20,000 (donated by Palmer/Susan Welcome) at a FREE event on October 28 at the Park Ballroom.

Vehicle Raffle and Fundraising Event

The POPS Committee is giving away a vehicle valued at $20,000 (donated by Palmer/Susan Welcome) at a FREE event on October 28 at the Park Ballroom. There will be music, a silent auction and other fun things. And, of course, the raffle for the $20,000 car! Raffle tickets for the car are on sale now for just $20 each or 3 for $50 as a fundraiser for the POPS facility.

Beer and Bars event announced
The Praha Outdoor Performance Stage (POPS) Committee of the New Prague Area Arts Council reminds those interested in supporting the arts that the kick-off event for the effort to build an outdoor performance facility in New Prague is Saturday, Oct. 22, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Giesenbrau Bier Co. “It’s Time” is the theme of this project.
The free “Beers and Bars” open house gathering will give folks an opportunity to get an update on the effort to raise $1 million in the next two-three years to build the facility. There is no formal program, although updated printed information will be available, along with a power point that will provide an update on the project that will run continuously in one section of the reception room. Come for 30 minutes or two hours and enjoy donated desserts, a beer or other refreshments.
